今日は会社のパソコンにインストールされているタイピング練習用ソフト『KeyboardMaster』についての話をしようと思う。
ここに就いてから8か月ぐらいキーボードマスターを散々やりまくって得た結論だが
はっきり言ってこれじゃタイピングの腕は向上しない。（少なくとも俺は）
それどころか落ちる可能性もある。
タイプスピード自体は向上すると言えば向上するんだが、
なぜ向上するかというと、それはミスタイプを気にしないようになるから。
キーボードマスターはミスタイプの回数がスコアに影響しないのだ。
（ミスタイプ率自体は表示されるため、スコアじゃなく、ミスタイプ率を0%にするのを目標にして頑張るという手もあるが俺にはそのやり方は合わなかった）
だからキーボードマスターでより高いスコアを追い求めれば追い求めるほどタイピングの正確さを疎かにしてまう。
いくらタイピングが速くてもミスだらけじゃ何の意味もない。

ちなみにこれに気付けたきっかけはイータイピングだ。
キーボードマスターで290台を叩き出して「こりゃいよいよ300に到達するか？」とか調子に乗っていたある日、久しぶりにネットの「イータイピング」をやってみると、スコアがめちゃくちゃ落ちていた。
学生時代のイータイピングのスコアは平均的に390とかその辺ぐらいだった気がするが、今試すと200台前半は当たり前、運が良くて350いくかどうかという具合である。
原因は言うまでもなく、異常なまでのミスタイプ回数。
（イータイピングはミスタイプが多ければ多いほどスコアが減点される）
何度試しても30回強はミスをする。学生時代はそんなことなかったのに。
明らかに指に変な癖がついている。原因はあれしかない と。
やっぱり練習するならイータイピングだ。
速さと正確さを両立させたタイピングはこっちで身につく。

Hi there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no backup. Do you have any methods to prevent hackers?
